3. What are my payment options for purchasing a yearbook?

You may purchase your yearbook online at MyYear.com with a Visa, MC, or AmEx. There will be an additional $1.75 charge for this convenience. This service is provided by our publisher, Taylor Publishing.

You may also purchase your book through your student at FWAFA. You will need to this 0809 Yearbook order form and send that with your payment of cash or check (made out to FWAFA) with your student to Mrs. Maddox in the computer lab.

4. What if I'd like to purchase personal space in the book to support my own student/s?

Our pages are divided into a grid of 9 blocks, 3 across and 3 up and down. Prices start with the smallest unit, a half block for $30 and go all the way to an entire page for $350. Please use this link for a visual display of the grid and how the pricing works.

Once you decide what size of block or blocks that you would like to purchase, please email sherill,maddox@fwafa.org and let me know what you want to do with your space. Someone will get back with you immediately and work out the details for your personal space.

These personal spaces do need to fit with FWAFA's yearbook guidelines.

5. Why are our yearbooks so expensive?

Actually, if you check with the schools around us, our books are very affordable! Local schools pay from $80 to $100 for their yearbooks, and those books are heavily funded by advertisers. FWAFA has worked very hard to keep your cost as low as possible while providing you with the most possible memories.

As FWAFA's enrollment continues to grow though, our cost will go up. We are at the top end of our budget contract with our publisher and we will be working on a new budget level for next year. We will continue to work to keep your cost as low as possible!

6. When will my student receive his/her book/s?

FWAFA has what is called a summer release. The books will arrive during the first week of August and yearbook will be sponsoring a yearbook signing party then before we get back to school. Stay tuned for that date!

7. Why can't we get our books before school lets out in June?

After much debate, the staff has decided that a summer release allows for all of our year to be included in the yearbook. Previously, FWAFA has done a late spring release, before school was out. A late spring release unfortunately cannot include most of our 2nd semester events though, such as the opera, the ballet, the spring productions, spring music and dance concerts, UIL competitions, all of the senior activities including graduation, Elementary Field Day and many more moments of student life at FWAFA.

It is our hope that in 30 years, you will be glad that you have your entire year captured in your 2008-2009 FWAFA yearbook!

We have a crack collection of photographers at FWAFA! It's been exciting to watch some of them grow in their art. We also have some parents who are regular contributers to our book since most of our photographers are involved in so many of the events covered in the yearbook!
